This growing injection molding company elected to work with SourceGroup because of our value engineering insights and the integrity they felt we brought to the bidding and design development process. Over the course of three months SourceGroup worked with the owner to redesign various architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical systems that had been over-engineered resulting in the project coming in over budget.

One of the project requirements was to upgrade the building's electrical service from a 240 high-leg delta to a 480-volt service. A change that will substantially reduce energy bills and make it possible to incorporate more cost-effective electrical presses that will decrease long-term operating and maintenance costs. SG worked closely with the electrical utility to complete the upgrade without interrupting electrical service to the building – making it possible for MMI to keep the production line fully functional.

CDI

The design of this industrial warehouse incorporates 4,800 square feet of office space with 27,200 square feet of manufacturing space. The site design also allows accommodations for 11,000 square feet of expansion.

Adding to the owners desire to foster efficiency & productivity, a state of the art ventilation & dust collection system and overhead bridge crane where incorporated with the facilities five loading docks and two drive-in loading bays.

After just two years CDI hit the 5 year projections and is now running 3 shifts 6 days a week and is currently planning to expand the facility with SG in the fall of 2008.

Viking Electric

Viking needed a facility that could meet the many needs of their growing business. The building's design successfully integrated administrative office, showroom, warehouse and loading dock space. Located in an industrial area a pre-engineered "metal" building was ultimately chosen for it's low cost and ease of construction.
